A dark, unsaturated red with low shading. Goes down bright red in writing, darkens to maroon or indeed cassis. This ink is oxidising, and has a bit of water-resistance, but is more wear-resistant and fade-resistant over time. The ink is sold in squat, square glass bottles of 60 cubic centimetres, or 60 ml.
