I’m fairly new to fountain pens and I’m looking for the smoothest nibs with no feedback. Ideally I’d like to keep pens under the £100 mark. Once I’m established and have found my groove in writing style, I feel, I’m more likely to pay more. I have a huge a huge interest in Twsbi’s diamonds especially (the rose golds drawn me in). My 580 is my favourite at home pen. I carry a Lamy AL star everywhere with me, as it’s cheap enough to replace.I’m currently trying to decide between a 580 smoke rose gold & a mini rose gold v2. I’ve never tried a an eco as I don’t think the clear barrel does it for me. I used a Parker 25 at school to learn cursive and loves it. I’ve sadly misplaced it over 8 moves :(
