Lamy Benitoite comes in a 30 ml glass bottle, flat, three-sided with rounded corners. The ink is blue-grey, or unsaturated blue-black, with some shading. It can look like it has some sheen in very thick applications or blotches. In writing, Benitoite feels somewhat dry. Opinions are divided on whether it is an iron-gall ink, but it appears Lamy have communicated that it contains some. It has a degree of water resistance.
