History for Monteverde Fireopal

Monteverde Fireopal is an ink from the brand's Gemstone collection. As with all Moneverde inks, it is lubricated to prevent skipping and hard starts when writing.
The ink is a fiery orange-red, or red-orange, around the area of burnt orange, with a lot of shading. In very favourable conditions, some black-grey-white sheen can be seen, or as a matte finish.

Some reviewers report it as dry, some as wet. In some pens, serious "nib crud" (harmless but annoying) can occur.
