History for J. Herbin Violette Pensée

J. Herbin Violette Pensée is a bright, saturated purple. It dries bluer than it comes out of the pen. The ink comes in glass bottles of 10, 30 or 100 ml bottles or, in the case of the anniversary edition, 300 ml.
The ink has some shading, but no sheen.
This is an ink that generations of French school children used.
