Akkerman Shocking Blue is a dark blue with lots of pink sheen. The ink comes in a beautiful 60 ml glass bottle and is available in the Akkerman store in Den Haag (The Hague) in the Netherlands. Shocking Blue is a band from The Hague founded in 1967 by Robbie van Leeuwen. This composite band with 4 talented people from Hagene released a hit in 1969 with which they were the first Dutch band to score a number 1 hit in the American Billboard hot 100 with the song we all know: Venus.
