Private Reserve Vampire Red comes in a round glass bottle with big opening, in 60 ml. Vampire Red has the look of an oxidised red, that varies between papers. It can lean brown, red or maroon depending on paper. On some, it looks very much like dark or drying blood, on others, more like brown red. Some reviewers report a lot of nib crud, andana dry, uneven writing experience. Others find it to be on thedry side, or on thewet side and smooth. It is worth noting that the company Private Reserve changed owner in 2020 and so some inks may have a slightly different formula than from before.
