History for Platinum Classic Forest Black

Platinum Classic Forest Black is sold in four-sided glass bottles of 60 ml. It goes down on paper a light forest green, but darkens (due to oxidisation) to a more safari-green. Some reviewers add that it is an unsaturated colour.
The ink has a lot of shading, but some reviewers report that it is dry, and some that it requires more maintenance than other inks in this series. Because it is an iron-gall ink, some care should be taken not to leave it in a fountain pen for too long. This does however mean that it has some water-resistance, and also some fade-resistance.
