Rohrer & Klingner inks come in round glass bottles of 50 ml. Alt-Bordeaux is wine-coloured, burgundy/merlot, leaning to purple. At its palest it is cherry-blossom coloured. It has shading, but no sheen, and on some papers appear a bit less saturated. Reviews are very favourable.
