Their inks are manufactured by an unknown 3rd party. The original line had some performance issues but their current production runs and available stock for the last 7+ years have all been good quality. F-C inks tend to perform with medium wetness and moderate shading and are very reliable. They produce a new limited edition for the Philadelphia Pen Show each year, so you've gotta catch 'em all.
