Musei Vatican Cocciniglia, a dark red ink, comes in a 30 ml glass bottle. It is allegedly the same ink used to colour manuscripts and documents. It has a bit of black sheen, that shows up easily around the edges. Shading is decent and the ink is well-behaved. It can be bought in the Vatican museum in Rome. Cocciniglia translates to cochineal, the red insect from whose carapace the red dye Carmine has traditionally been derived.
