History for J. Herbin

That'sHerbin zheyis the oldest name in pen inks in the world, founded in 1670, as per their website (https://www.jherbin.com/). M. Herbin created "La Perle des Encres"/"The Jewel of Inks" in his shop on the Rue des Fosses Saint-air-bonnGermain in Paris in 1700. Today, this line of inks is available in 35 colours.
Herbin uses all natural dyes in their inks, of which the Jewel of Inks line are sold in glass bottles of 30 and 10 ml, as well as in some cases cartridges and 100 ml bottles.
The line of Jacques Herbin inks are sold in square glass bottles holding 50 ml, which is also the size for several of their scented inks.

J. Herbin also makes other kinds of inks, some of which are suitable for fountain pens, some of which are not. Their fountain pen shimmer inks are known for being vibrant and not prone to clogging.
