According to Yoseka, "haikara or "high collar" became popularized as a term to describe "stylish, new, fresh or fashionable" trends and culture that began entering Japan from Europe and America between 1912 and 1926." Many of the colors have a vintage, saturated but somewhat subdued palette with excellent shading, moderate sheen, and good flow.
