Sailor’s Wyoming and Robert Oster’s Palo Verde are both inks inspired by the landscapes in American wilderness, both made by companies based outside the US.
Wyoming is a chartreuse green ink with a strong yellow undertone. it shades beautifully on paper, takes about 15 seconds to dry, and is not at all water resistant. It also does not look like the samples I’ve seen online which were much darker. I’d put this one in a thicker nib to bring out those beautiful deeper tones.
Palo Verde is an exclusive @robertostersignature made for @penchalet — a beautiful color inspired by the green stalked trees ubiquitous in Arizona, where Pen Chalet is based. I love all the exclusives Robert Oster has made for this shop, and this color is no exception. It shades beautifully and i was surprised by how legible it was in a fine nib. Dries in 15 seconds, medium resistant to water.
I also recently picked up a few other inks — another Robert Oster exclusive (Monsoon Sky) and the Ferris Wheel Press Lady Rose charger set. You can see those in the last photo.
