Akkerman Staten-Generaal rood is a medium bordeaux red ink.
The Staten-Generaal (States General) have been the parliament, or parliament, of the Netherlands since 1814. The constitution of 1815 introduced a bicameral system and since then the States General consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives. Red is the color that is perceived first because it has the lowest frequency of all colors.
